It's been almost two years since music-streaming service Rdio first introduced its family subscription plans, designed so that parents and children can get their own Rdio Unlimited account, without having to pay the full $9.99 for each member.

Last week's big Facebook media event was initially tipped to see a 'Facebook Reader' product launched, but instead it saw video introduced to Instagram. However, there's no smoke without fire and it seems that the company is indeed working on a Reader of its own, according to a Wall Street Journal report.

Apple Seeds iOS 7 Beta 2 to Developers
Two weeks after Apple released the first beta version of iOS 7 following its unveiling at the company's Worldwide Developers Conference, Apple has just released a second beta for testing. The update is currently available through Apple's over-the-air updating system on iOS devices, and should be posted soon to the iOS Dev Center.

White House: Hong Kong had 'plenty of time' to stop Snowden - live coverage
Assange said Wikileaks figures were advising Edward Snowden and assisting with his asylum application. He said that Snowden may have applied for asylum in other countries apart from Ecuador, and Wikileaks press spokesman Kristinn Hrafnsson said he had approached the Icelandic government with a formal request on Snowden's behalf.

200,000 People Don't Want This Anonymous Hacker To Go To Prison
Deric Lostutter -- the self-described Anonymous hacker who helped expose the Steubenville, Ohio rapists -- faces a significant amount of prison time if convicted, but has a great deal of support. On Monday, activists delivered a petition with 200,000 to signatures to the U.S. Attorney's office in Columbus, demanding that the case against Lostutter be dropped.
